DR. Eng. Maria Dyah Nur Meinita
Dr. Maria Dyah Nur Meinita is an Associate Professor in Fisheries and Marine Department, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. She hold a master‘s degree from Norwegian University of Life Science, Norway and a doctor’s degree from Marine Biotechnology Department, Pukyong National University, South Korea. She achieved her doctoral degree at age 30 and produced 23 research SCI-papers (SCOPUS H index: 7). Her major is marine algae biotechnology. Her productivity leads her to be selected as top 15 of the most productive Young Indonesian Scientist in Marine Major based on Thomson Reuters (2015), and selected as runner up of Asia Pacific Young Woman Phycologist Award (2017). Her research on seaweed biotechnology also leads her to win UNSOED award in research category (2015.) Since 2012, she has been conducting international collaboration research with Pukyong National University and Ocean University of China on seaweed biotechnology. Now she is assigned as Coordinator of Center for Maritime Bioscience Studies (CMBS).
